Natasha’s Living Food
About Natasha’s Living Food…..
Natasha Czopor had a vision for a business that would create beautiful, natural, healthy and delicious food for the world.
Training as a Raw chef, in 2007 Natasha set up her own Raw and Living food company from her kitchen, making healthy snack alternatives based on naturally grown wild or organically and sustainably raised fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds and sprouted grains.
Natasha’s Living Food is now an award winning business with five full and part-time staff and which has finally moved from her kitchen to an Enterprise Centre Unit in Stoneybatter, Dublin.
Natasha’s Living Food product range is first of all a tasty alternative to standard snack food with products that are bursting with flavour. Containing many different textures and tastes, Natasha’s Living Food is also fresh food full of nutrition.
Nothing is cooked, at least in the traditional sense, during the preparation of raw food dishes. Raw foods contain live enzymes that aid digestion, which activate as they are consumed. Heating foods to temperatures beyond 118 F causes those enzymes to die, and destroys nutrients, minerals, amino acids and vitamins, and alters the natural metabolic structure of the food.
Customers know they will benefit from her food all of which is sourced from organic farmers, has no additives, is completely free of animal products and uses nuts and seeds that help rid the body of toxins. Many of Natasha’s Living Foods customers include families with children who suffer from autism and coeliac disease. The highest rate of coeliac disease and food allergies can be found in Ireland.
Such has been the response to Natasha’s Living Food that her Kale Crunchies won the Innovation Award at the Bord Bia Food & Drink Industry Awards 2011. Kale Crunchies are a healthy crisp alternative made from dried locally grown kale.
Natasha’s Living Food’s FRESH adventure…
In 2010 Natasha’s Living Food approached Fresh Supermarkets and began supplying the three stores with a range of Raw food products. Natasha’s Living Food now supplies Kale crackers and three different energy/protein bars to all Fresh Supermarkets in Dublin.
Something you may not know about Natasha’s Living Food…..
Natasha spent a month working in a restaurant in America in order to gain the experience she felt she needed before she could open her own food business. She stayed on friends couches in New York in her quest to make her vision a reality.
Natasha recommends…….
Natasha recommends Kale crackers as an add-on to salads or soups, for an unusual combination that she just loves. Her Kale crisps contain vitamin A and E and are a talking point at parties.
